elevated ribs without pain
have you guys ever seen people whos ribs look elevated but have zero pain
i just felt my dads and i swear his his elevated but hes obviously fine. |
My former PT, Joyce Wilkinson, mentioned that elevation and torsion could be okay long term as long as there was still mobility. Not that she thought they were okay. She wanted to fix that. But if it wasn't fixable then at least the ribs needed mobility.

Thanks. I missed this.
Its an interesting idea. My ribs are more mobile than they used to be except the top ones.. My dad also said when he was younger his shoulders winged. I can't help but think my problems are mostly bad genetics |
When mine were raised I didn't really have pain, it was more of a tightness, discomfort and weird sensations of wearing a tight turtle neck sweater, and semi choking & swallowing problems, even like something was stuck in my throat almost..
I also had much more limited hand & arm use like extreme arm fatigue.. Mine raised from severe muscles spasms after 5 days of helping dh mix, pour & smooth a concrete slab for our shop. And after PT & DC got them down , they popped up a few times after I did a bit too much too soon, but Dc was able to get them to stay down with adjustment as needed. Now I can tell by the start of that sensation that I need to ease off of whatever I am doing at the time. |
