The link works fine for a computer browser. This web page is great. It says the simple truth without pulling any punches.

Many would do well to print it out and keep a copy on hand for those occasions when you need to explain your condition but do not have the energy.

Thank you for this. I'm caring for my 13 y/o daughter who has PCS (2nd time) and I'm finding it exhausting to try and explain things to family/friends--I may well use this as well to help her school better understand what she is coping with when she goes back next fall.

Imagine: Wouldn't it have been great to have been handed this at the ER, or from whatever support group or wherever, way-back-when?

Thx for the link. It is precise and concise and most of us here can completely relate. Problem is many people cannot relate (including doctors). I am training my cousin psychiatrist who is a psychiatrist and my uncle who is an MD about all this.

They still think with some medicines and something they can "fix" it. Now they read and attend conferences and start to realize that is not the case.

Also I personally know people with mild to severe TBIs including some seniors and except severe TBIs (who lost some functions like short term memory, cannot use much one side body) but other TBI survivors has no or minimal issues. Even they are seriously confused about all my symptoms :)

Seems like I am unlucky in that aspect with poor recovery but I still see some progress. Downs is what tough to handle after I see ups. Almost like a hangover ;) But this link is great. I am sure going to forward this to some people.
