Talking a little too much?

Anyone find themselves talking more than usual?

Lately, I've been flapping my gums like no tomorrow. I don't know if its because I'm having trouble expressing myself, so I use a bunch of small words, or what. But I find it kind of embarrassing after I realize I'm saying a bunch of unnecessary stuff lol. I'll be at the bus stop and someone will ask when the bus comes, and I'll start running my mouth about how horrible the bus system is out here...LOL.

Or, someone will ask me what I'm doing and I'll go into detail about what's going on instead of just saying "I'm out running errands".

I think I heard someone say this is common.

Anyone else?

Excessive talking is a common symptom of PCS. Some think it is because we tend to not pick up on the social cues that we are talking too much. Once you realize this tendency, it is possible to over-come it.

I had a big problem with this in the beginning. Not so much now. If I am with my wife, she will gently touch me and I will get the message.

I hope you have as much success as I have had at resolving this.

My best to you.

HAHA yeah, i do that all the time. Im on the phone with my gf for hours at a time and alot of the time i can talk and talk about the most ridiculous things you could possibly imagine (=

I've always been a pretty weird dude to begin with but i have said some of the most random things and kept goin with it only to realize my gf is in tears from laughing to hard o.O

I went to a post office to mail out a package on the 31st and somehow managed to have a conversation with the lady about bread, which had nothing to do with anything at the time lol..She looked at me like i had lost my marbles, but the expression on her face was priceless.
