Eye dilation
 

Yesterday i had an eye exam, they dilated my pupils and ran a bunch of tests etc, my eyes are healthy. I still havent gotten a VEE quite yet which im still working on trying to get.

I've noticed that my eyes keep re-dilating, when i woke up this morning they were fine, werent dilated at all but sometimes i take a look at my eyes and they are re dilated..Can anxiety cause your eyes to dilate?

You are obsessing on issues that are not important. Eyes will dilate based on the ambient light where you are.

Sometimes when eye doctors dilate, they use 2 different drugs.

One of them is very long acting. When I had my retinal angiogram this is what they did. My eyes stayed somewhat dilated for 2 more days, before it wore off finally.

Excess adrenaline in the body will dilate the eyes, as will
decongestants like Sudafed. Eyes dilate when people are in pain, excited or in love. During Renaissance, women in Italy often used belladonna to dilate the eyes..

As Mark said, eye dilation changes depending on the amount of light.

Also... I had my eyes tested this week as well and they dilated my pupils and it took just over 2 days for them to start behaving normally again.

The 2nd day the right one was fine and reactive to light, but the left one was still very dilated... very strange to see when I looked in the mirror... I felt a bit panicky at first, just because of having a head injury not that long ago, but then remembered my eye exam and relaxed.

They are both normal and reactive again.
