It is similar to the pressure pointer tool that I bought in 2004.
Seems like a bit of a cheesy website if they won't even show actual photos of the tool..:(:( I can't tell what it is made of- plastic, rubber, metal can't tell... I decided my pressure pointer was a waste of money, it was not as easy to use as they suggest. The pressing tips were wooden balls of various sizes, firm rubber tips would be much better or some wood and some rubber. The smooth wooeden ball tips would slide around and not stay where I wanted to press and they were too hard to be comfortable when pressing. But I do like the pressure pointer's informative website. *tennis balls, golf balls, marbles and friend or family member with a thumb, knuckle or fingers all work better in my opinon..* |
thanks jomar!
i couldnt tell if it was really gimmicky or really smart, ill go with the former and try a golf ball. my arms are soooooooooo tired |
I leaned against a wall with various ball sizes for pressure and also used the ball on the floor for pressure (or used a yoga mat if the floor was too firm).
If you have TrPs in the scalenes or SCM , then due to the location a pro might be best to get those resolved , unless you are knowledgeable of those muscles and nearby structures. |
