Last But Not Least
 

"Last Song"

I was sitting alone on the merry-go-round
And I wanted oh so badly to play
But not one soul came to the playground
On that beautiful, beautiful sun shinny day

So I sent up flairs in the air and on the ground
I played the bells of William Tell and sang real loud
Hopping I would flag just one somebody down
But to my surprise, no one arrived
Am I the only one in this town?

Maybe this was a sign for me to move on
Maybe this was a sign that I did not belong
Maybe this was just not meant to be
Maybe this is just not meant for me

So I'm packing up all my words and all my songs
Thought I count my blessings and not my lost
Even though I’ve shared with you my inner most thoughts
Still I’d be better off, if I just be movin on

I’ll get better and I know I’ll heal with time
I will keep you in my heart and in my mind
Every night when I kneel down to pray
I pray God will always make a way….
