lets smile!

What's something that made you smile and got your mind off the pain this week?

For me its been the book I am reading. Jenny Lawson's Lets Pretend This Never Happened. Ive been reading it to my hubby at night and we've both laughed hysterically!

So friends, share something good with us from the week. Maybe it will make someone smile who really needs a pick me up.

Two things really for this week. First is that I am back at work and got placed in a store with a great team...so that has me smiling and has also helped me keep my mind off the constant burning pain.

Second is that yesterday I spent some time working on a cross stitch project being stitched in memory of my good friend who passed away last year. She was such a fighter and through all her health problems kept her sense of humor and was always smiling. I always think of her and her smile/laughter when I stitch on that project.

Okay...and a third thing is spending some time in my garden...looking at all my beautiful flowers that I planted this year. Can't help but smile at that.

Last night went to a new pet store, were I found they had some hamsters. One hamster kept trying to get on the outside of the wheel. He/she would get 3 legs going on the wheel but everytime it would try to get the 4th on the wheel he would just fall. The poor hamster just kept trying and trying.
