MRI at last, long wait now

Hi, just in bed now, had high power MRI today and definitely felt well and truly scrambled and fried after - bed day planned for tomorrow to recover. Been told results be about 10 days. Not sure whether it would be better to have a clear scan and still be stuck in pcs limbo, or evidence of damage on scan for a more firm diagnosis and more support.
I would find it really helpful to see examples of test results that any of you lovely people have had so I have an idea what to expect x

Unless you had a high quality Diffusion Tensor Imaging MRI or a 6 to 7 Tesla MRI, I would think a clear report would be best. A damaged area big enough for any normal high power MRI to image would be scary because it would mean more serious damage.

The more serious damage would mean no opportunity for improvement in that area. Clear would mean the damage is microscopic and more able to be tolerated to regain better function.

The microscopic damage would mean living a calmer life to enable better function. The larger damage would mean there is little you can do.

As for how others would view your injury, I would prefer they not understand because my injury is less severe than they do understand it because it is severe.

Just my view of life with PCS.

Do you know what the Tesla power was?

Thanks Mark, you are a legend as ever. I was fortunate that the hospital is very well equipped and it was 7 Tesla. I am all over the place today after yesterdays zapping. Just has call from psychiatric team offering me a doctors consultation next Tuesday. At least I'll be getting neuro and psych support to keep me going x

Wow,

7 Tesla. That was a HIGH powered MRI.

The report will be very interesting.
