Claw hand
My husband started, about a year ago .. A tingling down his left arm. He has been to the hand clinic who did a series of electrical tests .. One f which made him do a nazi salute, which surprised hm!!
His left hand keeps going into a claw ... Any ideas? He goes for the results on Friday, |
Usually it is some sort or nerve compression/impingement somewhere along the arm, neck, shoulder that can cause that.
Has he have any kind of repetitive motion injuries? Ever any whiplash or neck/upper body injury? |
There are several conditions colloquially called 'claw hand'. Some can be found in this article, and others by googling: claw hand and the Searches related to same at the bottom of the first page of search results.
Dupuytren’s contracture, a genetic condition, afflicts many in the UK, including Margaret Thatcher and Bill Nighy. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...sufferers.html See also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulnar_nerve_entrapment HTH, Doc |
