Must be newbie day :)
Hi all - I'm a forum newbie but not new to PN. I've had various forms of pain for years and years, incontinence issues and then got diagnosed with diabetes about 15 years ago. The pain continued getting worse so finally went to neurologist, where he diagnosed we with diabetic neuropathy. I'm currently taking 1800mg of neurotin, cymbalta and recently tried a round of lyrica, but that didn't seem to make any difference. My pain is tolerable, but my mission now is to see if there is anything that will help with bladder and sometimes bowel incontinence, which comes and goes. This looks like a nice active community. I once was on a very active neuropathy board, but the Neuropathy Association changed software and drove everyone away and I have since not found a place to be. I hope my searching has ended.

Welcome to Neurotalk--
--and do please come over to the peripheral neuropathy section that Darlene provided the link for--not only a lot of information and insight, but I'm sure you'll recognize a lot of the names there; many also used to post on the Neuropathy Association board (myself among them).
