both feet burn with running cold water internally
I am sitting here looking at old post and notice that both feet (the top) are burning like there is no tommorrow as well as a feeling of running cold water going from my chest to my pelvis.
this is not good. It rained last night and I think there may be a possiblity of rain later. Wow! feels like my foot is on fire. |
Sorry to hear this. I hope you are feeling better today.

I think the stress of being sick or nausea's everyday is taking effect elsewhere. I noted difficulty walking yesterday. I hope I don't go back wards, I have made so much advancement.
thanks Catra. |
Alt,
What you're describing in your feet sounds very much like 'peripheral neuropathy', a side effect of rsd, but also a Huge effect of Diabetes! Watch your sugar! This is important for ALL of us! I recently became diabetic type II (insulin dependent) and, it's NOT fun! Stay away from sweet things of all kinds. Another thing that amazes me, (I had relatives who were diabetic, and so was my father, although he controlled with diet), so I got used to eating less sweet things. I had a few gulps of coca cola last week, I thawt that my teeth were gonna shatter! Who needs to intake things that are so ridiculous sweet? Even the 'diet' drinks, are too sweet! I'm down now to drinking plain, unsweetened ice tea. And, I like it! I don't need all these sweeteners, sugar or artificial! Hope you feel the same way, it'll drive your RSD crazy! Now that I've got my sugar under control, my headaches are almost gone, and I feel better overall! Get tested! Good luck and Be Well! Love, Pete Asb |

I was tested for diabetes, thyroid, etc. in February everything was fine. I even got off my roll about this past winter. In april everything started going haywire. 40 plus hot flashes. then in june started getting sick almost everyday and the days I wasn't sick I was nausea's. Now this! I appreciate the heads up though. |
Alt...are you on clonidine patches by any chance? I know that I found out when the weather warmed up that I need to be careful in the heat because the patches will start to cause dizziness, nausea, etc. Apparently in the heat, they will release more medication and then it's sort of like ODing in the meds. So instead of controlling those symptoms it makes everything go wonky. Just a thought since we've had a lot of really HOT days around here (not sure about where you are).

Catra,
Yes I am on clonidine and the weather has been in the triple digits pretty much the last 2/3 weeks. I have been trying to limit my outdoor time as much as possible and I am thinking it is the air conditioner. Anita |
