I am asking for all to keep my DH in your prayers. He will be having surgery in the morning. This will be the first time since he was in elementary school. He is suppose to be getting out Tuesday. Sure hope he comes through and feels much better. My thoughts and prayers are with you. :smileypray:

DH was dismiss today. His surgery was a success, I hope his recovery goes just as good. This made the first time he was the patient and was there to keep him in line. lol It was and will be fun since he a nurse, and has been for 35 years.

He had a gastro by-pass, Both of us have always had trouble with weight. We went on a diet, both losing around 60 pounds. Even though he did lose all that, he still had others problems so he went a head with the surgery.

I'm so pleased that it all went well. That operation appears to be a quick and easy one, where in fact it IS major surgery, just done without any major scars.

I too was a nurse and I cared for many patients after this operation. In the hospital that I worked in, the operation was considered dangerous enough that all post operative patients spent the first night in Intensive Care.

I hope all goes well for his recovery.
