Need so advice please....
 

Hi, i am new to this site. I am a single mother of a 6 yr old little girl. She has bipolar disorder and generalized anxiety. We have tried a couple meds but they are making her gain a lot of weight and not helping the bipolar or anxiety. Her weight is very much a concern to me she has almost gained 30lbs.

Currently she is taking resperidone. Her doctor wants me to also give her medformin, from what i understand it helps her not be so hungry..or we can try a new med called geodon.. I am not sure what to do?? I hate for her to have to take 2 different meds. At the same time the geodon has a risk for a heart murmer.. N e sugestions please....
