Has anyone seen where CRPS was mentioned on the show "House"

At least the condition is being talked about on a well known tv show. I was happy to hear it. They used spinal stimulation to diagnose the suspected CRPS. Turned out the diagnosis on the show was not CRPS. But it was considered and I am glad the writers did some homework on the condition.

I was diagnosed with several different criteria: skin color, temperature of hands were almost 2 degrees apart, and finally with positive bone density test. I was diagnosed in 1995, and was 3 months past the injury that brought on my RSD. I was lucky and my RSD is under control with meds. As much control as you can get with RSD at least.

Love 'House'

Yes, I saw that episode and was totally FLOORED!! I thought that was great to hear it being talked about. I was left wishing they had made the main patient's problem CRPS. Great episode though :)

All right!!! I love that show.. a dr. walking round using a cane.. and miserable.. WOWEE.. I can relate to him.. I have watched house religiously for the past 3 years.. and have noticed crps was mentioned a handful of times.. I too was upset they didn't go deeper into it. but just the mention of it on a show like this .. it was nice to see it used appropriately. I felt validated.. if that makes sense.
