Working Wednesday~

Good Morning all! I need to stay home and work in this trailer today. So far I had been combing a doll hair, and she has tons of it. I wish I could put some of it on another doll. I don't feel very good again today. I think I have a UTI and when I am like this, I don't like to drink water. I have had this a while and it doesn't get any worse, but I continue to feel low adominal (sp) pain. I had it all last week. I don't want to go to the DR. cause it don't seem bad enough for that.

I'll check back later. Don't know any news right now. Hope you all have a good day.

Billie, if you take granberry pills, get them anywhere, I use the Azo ones. They are great for warding off uti's. We used to give them to our Pug that had lots of trouble after his spine surgery and that is how I learned about then from the Vet. Want cure uti but will help keep system runnung better after you get some meds for it.
I can't remember to drink water. I guess I will have to set out a bottle on the counter each day of a daily supply??? Maybe if I will put it on the chart I plan to make daily, so I can remember to: eat, drink, feed Zoe, or whatever I have to do and can't remember now.

Hugs to all who :grouphug: come in today. Froggie

When I feel like I might be getting a UTI I take a cranberry concentrate pill or a supplement similar to that.
I drink extra cran juice too until I feel like UTI is gone.

I think avoiding strong and spicy foods is supposed to help also.

but basically you need to flush out the possible UTI infection.
Warm or weak {diluted drinks or juices} will work if you don't care for plain water.
other thoughts to try - increase yogurt - decrease sugars

Hi everyone, went to have lunch with a friend of mine today. I had a veggie pannini sandwich and it was so good. No ideas on calories but it was good and all veggies so it shouldn't be too bad. No dressing just veggies and goat cheese. I almost cancelled because my legs are still funky but I am glad I did because it helped to get out.

I am on glass 3 of water--big glasses too. Had ice tea with lunch but no sugar. I also went to Wild Oats and stocked up on fruit and veggies again. They have the best fruit there and it is organic so hopefully even better for me. Plus I bought the dogs organic dog food as I had run out and just wanted to be on the safe side.

So thats it for me...Sue

Yes, I am some better for today. I did take a pain pill, so I could paint some more on a bed. I'm still not done, because it was so cold here. It has warmed up some since the rain. I have been in a awful mood tho. Have you ever had one of those days, things just went wrong? Even my pastor caught me crying.
I had my phone disconected because the service is poor and they charge for everything they do. I'd rather pay a bigger cell bill, if I need the extra minutes, than stay with this company. maybe I can get rid of salemen calls also. I hate those where they want you to donate on this and that.

Yes Sue I agree, it helps to get with friends some. Mine don't do it often enough for me tho. I found out one of mine is going to have surgery for cancer, next week in a far away town. They think they can get it all tho. There is no treatment for the kind she has. It is in her mouth.

Azo products are great!
they even sell something that helps with bladder spasms, turns your urine orange and used to be a prescription, now over the counter. Cranberry capsules are great because it is very difficult to get that much cranberry from the juice and sky rockets your blood sugar.
I have heard that some woman are more suceptable to utis when drinking colas, like diet coke or pepsi.
I hope you are feeling better soon and call your doctor they might call in something for you sight unseen.
whay be miserable any longer?
((((HUGS))))

Alffe & Bizi~

Thanks for the info Bizi. I will get some tomorrow. I didn't go anyplace today but the farm to feed. I have been depressed and can't seem to stay up for long.

Alffe~ the towns you mentioned are so familiar to me, as I grew up at Spencer. Which isn't far to Bloomington. I never go in that direction anymore since my folks died. I kept moving farther away until I only go there to put flowers on my folks graves anymore. It's nice to know someone does know some of the towns near my home place tho.
