Is this PCS related
Hello all,
It's been a little while since my last post. I have been feeling pretty well the past few months. I don't get headaches anymore which is good. I do have a question though. The past two months, my ears have felt extremely clogged. It feels like I am on an airplane. Yesterday, I got checked by the doctor and she said my ears had a tiny bit of fluid in them, nothing extreme or out of the ordinary, and she took a look in my nose and my throat. She said my one nostril was completely backed up with mucus and my throat had some post nasal drip action. I have noticed that when I exercise or anything, the ear congestion feels worse. Is this PCS related or no? |
I don't have an answer for you, except it definitely made me go, Huh. (remember the song, things that make you go....) ah well. Anyway, I hope you find an answer...
And I am happy to hear that you have been doing well!!! Congratulations!!!:D |
I doubt it is PCS related. It sounds more likely a general health issue. Eating healthy and working to keep your immune system healthy is probably your best solution.

Sounds like its sinus related. You might want to have a general practioner
see if you need a antibiotic. Or something for the mucus. Donna:grouphug: |
fan,
I just remembered I had a problem where my inner ear, throat and the rest was all messed up and inflamed. The ENT scoped my sinuses and the upper part of my esophagus. He diagnosed acid reflux. When I slept, acid would reflux up to my Eustachian tubes (connect the sinuses to the ears) and sinuses. They would become inflamed and not drain properly. Once I dealt with the acid reflux, the problem went away. For me, the reflux was caused by a lactose intolerance. Late night milk products would cause the acid reflux. |
