Brain Injury #2
If I wasn't messed up as it is...I just got hit in the head with a door (accidentally). It was enough force to knock me back and it was in the same area as my last concussion.
My brain was already scrambled - now it feels like it's been thrown into a blender. |
That must be really frustrating. Ever since my injury, I have become pretty cautious in my movements in an effort to avoid exactly this type of scenario. However, I know that it will always be a possibility, as sometimes unwelcome stuff just happens.
I would try not to "add on" to your current situation by stressing about it. You may get back to baseline in relatively short order - no way of knowing. But either way, getting caught up in worrying about it definitely will not help matters. Fwiw, it seems to me as though you've made good progress over the last year (based on the form and content of your posts). Hang in there. |
I just want to second greenfrog's sound advice. I know it's hard, but you'll be better off if you can just accept this right away. There's nothing you can do now to go back and change it, and accidents can happen no matter how careful we are, so there's no use in getting angry at yourself either. Also, like greenfrog said, it could just be a minor thing that resolves quickly, in which case it definitely isn't worth getting worked up over.
Hang in there and stay strong. Accept what you can't change. |
