elevated b1
Hi Everyone,
Hope ya'll are doing well, Happy Spring. sorry in the heading I wrote the wrong b--I meant b6 darned brain fog! I have been asked to come into the neuro's "right away" and naturally the soonest appt I could get is 5/16....... A repeat blood work for vitamin b6 came back 93. (again) and the lactic again at 16.6 {{past lactic -24, carnitine-low, missing 9 amino acids.....) I've googled the b6, and found too much can cause neuropathy. But since I can not absorb b12, this is a bit confusing to me. Why would this cause a panic? Thank you for listening. take care, Lah |
Absorption, use, and storage of B12 is very different. It would be very common to be unable to absorb B12 normally and still absorb B6 and other vitamins just fine.
