Headache trigger

I have found the one thing that is sure to make my head pound is bending over. Anyone else have that problem?

Bending

I have noticed several triggers for myself but that is not one. One thing I have seen here is that concussions are quite commenly different for different people.

Hope you feel better.

Yes, that happens to me too... if I bend over so my head goes below my waist, my head pounds... also I get dizzy and sometimes fall down head first. I try really hard to remember to crouch instead of bending over.

Yes, I get dizzy and my head becomes heavy. Now I am wearing a cervical collar which helps when I bend, turn my neck etc., Also when I get pain over my head or neck and stand it helps too. You can get checked out from a spine or ortho doctor.

Cheers!

Bending re:

I am almost 50 and have for sometime crouched not bend over. I am going to try bend and see what happens???

I get dizzy and can almost fall when I bend over but that hasn't been a trigger for headache. If I already have a headache and ben over it can make it worse. Good luck to you!

tried the bending

I tried the bending over I did not get a headache but I did get the sensation that my head was in a vise. Interesting I'll have to mention it to nuero next time I see him.

I usually wake up with a headache and bending over just makes it worse and I get dizzy and light headed as well. I have to catch onto something so I don't fall over.

I almost fell back into the doc yesterday when I got up from my chair too quickly and had to use the wall to guide me out...so awful

I wake up with headaches, if I bend over for too long I will get a nasty one. Also it seems that if it is really hot like it has been lately then my migraines are more intense, I have been suffering more dizzy spells. Also my allergies are compounding my migraines in the worst way. I had an attack of hay fever and that made the migraines associated with my concussion even worse. Traveling in a car long distances now are very trying for me it takes me days to recover from a long trip. I also cant deal with stress any more like I used to, stressful situations will cause a migraine badly.
