Hello Y'all
I was diagnosed with PD in July 2006 at age 58. I have just started with a new neurologist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. No problems with previous neuro, but this one is motion specialist and a bit closer to current state of the art and research. Super nice guy too.
Currently (since July 2006) on 0.25 mg mirapex three times a day, and new neuro also started me on 1 mg azilect once a day. New neuro has also recommended me for a new large scale study of creatine in slowing the progression of the PD. See http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medi...p?newsid=65951 for more info on this study. Side effects from the mirapex have not been severe and I'm interested in y'all's experiences with the mirapex/azilect combination, especially side effects. Brad |
