Question - - Migraine - - Neuro

Hi, I have been suffering from migraines for years. I have a severe headache or migraine at least 15 days out of the month generally more. I have been seeing a Neurologist for the past 3 months. He ordered an MRI and told me that my cerebellum is low and is pushing on my brain stem which is causing some of the migraines.

While looking up information on this I came across the Chiari information. I am wondering if your cerebellum is that the ame thing as Chiari. The dr I am seeing does not recommend surgery at all and did not use this term, so my guess is that they are 2 completely different things.

Thanks for any feedback.

Hello Micklitz, and welcome to NeuroTalk

I thought I'd give you the link to our Headache Forum as well as this one, beacuse I wondered of you might get the answers that you seek from members there, should you not get them here.

Here's the link : http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum32.html
