finally some progress? :)

This is big for me, so sorry if I started a thread for something tiny... But my son's 11th birthday was yesterday, and I survived the party with 10 young boys running around excited after laser tag, etc. (I did NOT go in the laser room...)

The party room where we had the cake and presents had the wall painted all bright colored with red and blue, etc, which was quite dizzying and overwhelming, but I managed to pull through for my little guy.

I don't feel too crappy today, just a bit of a headache that as of yet isn't too bad. I am a bit queasy today but better than I expected...so far!

I can understand your excitement, very positive news and thinking. I just recently attended a B-day party of 5-7 year olds with my son and found it quite difficult and felt unwell the next day.

So I would not call it tiny, wins can come in many forms.

The day is young. Go easy. You need to rest even if you don't feel like you need it.

My best to you.

Progress

Good for you. There are so few and rare precious moments we get with our loved ones. I find I appreciate them more now than I did before. For a child love is spelled T-I-M-E.

That's great!

Monday is my birthday and I share it with my daughter whose turning 9. Which is so hard coz all I want is to stay in bed all day but that aint gonna happen. She wants a small gathering with just the 4 of us. What a relief as I have anxiety about going into places with crowds.

My MIL gave my gift early....gift certificate to dinner and a movie! Is she nuts? I can barely watch TV without getting nauseous and dizzy. She doesn't get it! She thinks my only problem is depression and I just need to get out!

She also said I SHOULD go and visit sister in law on my B Day (an hour drive) and I can sit there if I want. Hello! I can't sit for long with my O/N my neck goes into spasms! Man how do u get ppl to understand who refuse to?

I gave my gift to my son to share with dad as I'll never use it within its expiry time and I'm tired of ppl who give me an expiry date!

Sorry for the vent....But I was happy to hear that u made it thru the party. I hope I can someday.
