Ataxia diagnoses

I received a new diagnosis of Ataxia followed by ON, PCS,PTSD,Panic disorder from a violent assault 3 months ago.

I saw my neuro and I failed the balance test and the finger pointing test with closed eyes. My eyes are delayed in movement.

I come close to falling daily I can't walk long distances. I have chronic vertigo for 24/7.

My question is....Where can I find information on Ataxia? I have no idea what this dx entails.

Plz Help

Hi Kelly,

There are many different kinds of ataxia. You can read about them at the National Ataxia Foundation at http://www.ataxia.org/ and at Worldwide Education and Awareness for Movement Disorders: http://www.wemove.org/ataxia/
