Perfect Report
When I came bopping in the doctor's office, he grinned from ear to ear and told me to slow down because my legs were weak. I had to repeat myself several times before he "got it" that there was NO nerve pain. It's been out several hours now and the pain is back. Boy, I got spoiled fast.
I see the psychologist the first of the month when my check comes in as there is a hefty co-pay. He said he can get me into the surgeon quickly after that and rush the implant. Blessing to all and thanks for the support. |
Yes!!
What great news, Spine!!! Yaaaayyyy!!! Too bad the pain is back for awhile, though. But at least now the light at the end of the tunnel isn't an oncoming train! :D

Wonderful news!!

Great news. Not too long till you'll be buzzing permanently. Hope they can rush it along.

It shouldn't be toooooo long. I can't see the Psych. for an eval. until the first of the month as I am broke already and don't have the co-pay. My expenses have gone up since Medicaid cut off my medical transport and I have to pay for cabs. Once I get the eval. Pain Man said he will rush it through for me. The pain is back with a vengance but I guess I will get accustomed to it to a certain extent, knowing I am nearing the end of the journey.

Praying
Your pain journey nears its end and soon!

Congrats Spine!
This is very exciting to hear! I think it's really cool that your psyche is working with you to get this moving right along. Too bad you have to wait till next month for that appointment tho.
BUT the time will pass and we are all here for you to help bide the time during this interim. Hopefully you have plenty of meds on hand to counter the intensified pain you are experiencing. Rae :grouphug: |
Wow ... It's amazing to think it can work THAT good ... Roll on till you get your permanent

Still in the grips of the beast
I honestly don't know which is worse right now, the neuropathy or the Fibro flare. It's a full body flare and the meds aren't touching it. There's no point in calling Pain Man as we agree that I should not be on a higher level of opiates given the fact that I live alone and the kids are hours away. My aid should be here soon and I can get into the tub for a long hot soak. That should pull things down a bit for a few hours. I wish I could soak more than three times a week but dare not complain. KY Medicaid has all but eliminated the homebound waiver program and cut servcies drasticly. They are keeping me out of a nursing home. It will be such a blessing when the permanent implant goes in but there are other issues that are out of control and aggravate eachother. Need your prayers. Thanks.
