contour sleep system

Well I broke down and bought the contour wedge system from the relax your back store. I really need a good night sleep, which I have not had in a long time. Plus you can change the wedges around to be comfortable in bed when reading. I do a lot of reading these days.

Are the new sleep cushions helping? (hope they do!)

I bought a pillow wedge from Bed Bath & Beyond earlier this week. It's not a contour, so it doesn't "give" at all. But it does keep me elevated, and my head aligned with my spine. I then elevate both arms with pillows on the sides. I have to say my sleep has been MUCH better than trying to arrange pillows for head and neck. They only had one size at the store, but I know medical supply catalogs have a bigger selection.

I can say that it has helped..the last few nights I actually slept more the 5 hours in a row...I will continue to give it a try. I know setting it up in a position to read has been great as well. The cost was a little more than I wanted to pay, but so far so good. I do have a tempurpetic mattress, I just wish I had the adjustable one. They did not have that when I bought mine a few years ago.. I am not ready to dish out the cash to buy a new bed.
