Well everyone who has been following me, it has been a pleasure. I appreciate all your advice the past 8 months. Unfortunately, this is my final post.

This condition got the best of me, plan and simple. Looking back on it, I would't be surprised if I have gotten 20 concussions this year. From bumping my head getting out of my car, getting bumped around all the time, running down stairs, etc, etc. My brain has been jarring up there every time my head moves. My depression has reached it's all time high, my memory had been on and off and I am tired of not being myself anymore and I'm not a person who wants to live like this. I'm moving away for a while and living a life of recluse. People around me have had no idea that anything has been wrong with me but I guess that's just the way things had to turn out.

I never thought that I would be a victim of CTE, but as everyone says, god has a plan for all of us.

I will remember you and pray. I truely hope to hear from you again. Please take alittle time to contemplate but don't give up.

I recommend continuing to rest, getting good nutrition and regular sleep, and being disciplined about limiting your physical and mental exertion.

I don't think you should give up, but you also need to help yourself along. You may be overloading your recovering brain with stress, exercise, and other activity/exertion. You may need to kick it back a notch, take it easy and be patient (it's a cliche, I know). Recovery is often measured in months or even years.

If you can find one of the good concussion specialists out there (I know they're hard to find), he or she may help in keeping you encouraged and in monitoring the depression.

If you're struggling with depression, be sure to seek medical help asap. Try a different doctor if you don't like the one you currently have. Be persistent and find someone who can help.
