blood clotting
hello, i was wondering if any severe vit/mineral deficiencies would make one more prone to blood clotting? thank you

Hey there,
I think a severe b6/b9/b12 deficiency might, in that it may cause homocysteine levels to rise and elevated homocysteine levels are associated with a higher risk of blood clots. Ziggy |
I don't know the answer to that specific question, and/but I'm concerned that it could be misleading if something else more serious is going on.
I would take a look at any/all possible causes and either rule out or pursue clues/possibilities from there. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/blo...SECTION=causes (Just one list/source) Doc |
