Sleepless In England

I thought i would pop in and say hello to you all whilst my nocturnal habits, are upside down.

My first grandchild was due yesterday, but the little wiggle monster has decided its much more comfie where he is and who can blame the little guy. my eldest son is a beaming Father to be, excited and positively buzzing to become a dad.

Today my youngest son passed his college exams and now University beckons in September......................where did there childhood go? .....i blinked and they were men.

Its been a complicated last 4 months..............back on mood stabilizers which help a great deal............but i do worry.........that i have become slightly desensatised..but i guess that's the price to pay for some relative peace...........

I now have Fibromyalgia to add to my list of aging ailments, hence tonight's sleeplessness.........only took ten months for that diagnosis so they are getting better:rolleyes:

Oh and after 12 months on secondment as a group-worker i got the full time post.........my hooray is tinged with caution as all this austerity and and government cut backs in the UK just keep on coming...........our next waiting game is September....[more job losses loom]

I sincerely hope you are all well, i have missed you all:grouphug:

Hello Grandpa....or at least I hope that by now the little wiggle has arrived. Lot's of exciting news on your front...:D

Now regarding your growing list of "aging ailments"...it gets worse but you are no where near old....I am fond of saying old age ain't for sissies! :p

Wow. ..a grandbaby! Great news, we are expecting our 12th in the spring!
So you were just diagnosed with Fibro. Hope you have been able to get some sleep when you read this.:thud:
I'm a long time Fibro person...I'm so glad my sleeping problems are at bay. My 89 year old Mom lives with us and she has dementia and will often call out in the evenings. I think I am getting used to it and can usually sleep through it. Back to your sleeplessness...I have tried Xanax at times and it will finally relax me enough to put me to sleep. Right now I am able to use an over the counter sleep aid that really helps. I am also using trazadone for sleep.

Keep us updated on the wiggle monster!!
