Update on Mark....

Thank God for text-messaging! Mark is but an armreach from where I live (well, one state over ) and I feel very grateful that he stays in touch the best he can.
He is under strict orders NOT to be on computer, as most of us know, so we'll gladly take whatever bits and pieces of communication we can get.

Today he says that his arms feel MUCH better! "Wow, you should see the scar!" he says. His first shower was very nice and made him feel human again. And, as always, he's very appreciative of all our prayers and wellwishes.

Is this good news or WHAT!!

It's amazing what a morale boost those showers are. It feels soooooo good to get rid of post op funk. We're with ya, brother.

Thanks for the update Rrae! Let Mark know we are all thinking of him!

That's fantastic news ... I'm a bugger for getting in the shower too early. I.e. the next day .. Though they do cover the areas cut with waterproof plasters.

he really must listen
and take it easy
when the arm wants
to act up
coming from the neck
God be with him and family

all here have been upfront
and honest the LOVE and
FAITH is kept afloat by the
the beautiful people

someone who cares

Thanks Rrae :)

Rrae thats fantastic news about Mark, so glad he can keep us updated through you........:)

I wonder will he have withdrawal symptons by not using his computer :D... I know it would KILL me if I couldnt get online at some stage during the day, even if its just with my iphone........otherwise I would feel Im missing out :D

But hopefully he will listen to Dr's orders and take heed and in that way he will be back here again with us all giving us lots and lots of encouragement......

Thanks Rrae

INDEED! I'm sure he will get withdrawals. :p
I would bet my bottom $ that he gets on here at short stints to check on us. As long as he isn't typing, I'm guessing he won't get thrown to the lions by his Dr's.
Hopefully the docs won't come down on him for sending the texts. They are short and sweet, so maybe they don't 'count'

Today's text: "How very blessed am I to be home to share our 39th together, Cleo and I. God is GOOD"

Aw, how sweet! Congrats Mark & Cleo!!
I hope you are having an enjoyable restful day together.
What a 'power-couple' you make!
......"Branjolina" can go suck an egg! MARCLEO has taken the throne!! :D.....
