Thinking of you

Thinking of you this weekend Nikko and sending lots of cyber support and love.
We are to get a major snow storm again...The one earlier this week was mainly sleet and a bit of snow but they are calling for a major multi-day event for the northeast after midnight tomorrow. I am scheduled to work Sunday, so I have to watch the weather.

Maybe it will rain early in the day?
Everyone have the best weekend you can,
and if doing taxes, get crakin they are due by the 17th!
I AM GUILTY, WILL BE HAMMERING AWAY ALL WEEKEND, LOL

Hugs to all :grouphug:  :winky:
Love, Di

mystified 04-14-2007 11:36 AM

Well I saw my T yesterday and we had a long talk about my family (brother, sisters, father) and he basically told me that I would never be able to have what I want from my family because of the way they are. He believes that both my father and my brother are Bipolar II. Anyway, he suggested that as a way to get support and possibly make friends that I join a bipolar support group. I googled and found one in the area and signed up. The next meeting is this Friday. I've asked my husband to come, at least the first time, to provide moral support. Wish me luck!

Pamster 04-14-2007 12:36 PM

Sounding off from Florida, Pamster here and accounted for! ;) We had a great day so far, went out with my mom shopping and to Wendy's and the little man was wonderful. He's such a big helper now. He likes to help strangers though and today he shut a door for an elderly man and I was so afraid he would slam it on his leg, sometimes it's not a GOOD thing that he wants to be so helpful...

I hope your weekend goes better Nikko, I understand you're having a tough time, I've been thinking about you and wishing you well and sending cyber hugs your way. Kepe us posted one what happens next week, we're all pulling for you. :)

That's awesome mystified about the bipolar support group! I hope it works out to be a really valuable source of support. Only way to know is to go a few times and see. It's great your husband will go with you too. Hope it goes well. Definitely let us know what happens. :D

Hi everyone,

Nanc, I hope that soon things will be worked out for you. Perhaps when APS comes it will be the start of good for you.

Pam, your little sounds so very well mannered. You must be proud. I would be.

Di, I've got things that should be done but cannot seem to do them. However, I did get the federal taxes already done. Now I just need to do state. I hope your weather isn't too bad like they predict.

Mrs. Bear, I am doing the same today as you are.

Hi Bizi, hope all is well by you.

Well, today I tried to visit my neighbor whom I have the crush on but his roommate said he's not feeling good. He does have cancer so it's understandable but I get the feeling it's me and not because of the cancer. Regardless, I made him a little Get Well mini letter with some graphics I made awhile back. I plan to mail it to him though as I don't plan on knocking on the door again. I told him in the letter if he needed anything to let me know so I'll leave it in his hands now. He had just waved and smiled at me when we passed in our cars in the parking lot yesterday so it's probably my insecurities.

Drop off something to eat like chicken soup or brownies, with the card... It might lift his spirits.
Must continue to be proactive in all that we do...

Hi Bizi,

That is a great idea. However with the bad storms we are expecting tomorrow I may not make it to his house until Monday. Thank you so much Bizi.

Hi,
We are supposed to get storms tomorrow too and then cooler weather for a few days.

I went for a walk tonight just as it was getting dark.
