Return to Oz.

10 days left, it will be strange to leave the UK and London after being here for 5 years. Heading off to Sydney Australia, the boxes went yesterday and will be on a ship/crate for 3 months. House is worthy of an award from Bree Van Der Kamp.

I am really looking forward to a a healthcare system that I know and trust. It has been pretty terrible working with the NHS, and I always just assumed my troubles were carpal tunnel and the stress of living and working in London. After a 18 months of searching, I have finally been referred to clinic who can tell me what is going on. The appointment date? 18 days after I have left the country permanently. I knew this would happen, but is still no less annoying.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the support so far, and the knowledge that I am not the only extra rib freak having troubles. May not check in for a while, as I am kind of homeless while I tour with an opera company till January. I can't spend all my time in McDonald's stealing WiFi.

Hope everyone is finding peace and pain free times ahead.
Ans.

Good luck with your touring. I can only imagine your relief at going to a health care system that makes sense to you and is more responsive.

Kelly

I hope you settle in nicely. Yes the health care in Australia does seem to be better than some other countries. I don't think I would want to live anywhere else. I hope you have found someplace to settle in Sydney (I'm in Melb). There are plenty of places with free wifi and not just the golden arches.

I am hopeless with this site, I keep not finding replies. Thank you for your lovely messages.
The touring went well. I am now settled in Sydney. Receiving excellent Chiro, and looking into other forms of help. Real diagnosis from a vascular surgeon. So things are on the up.

Thanks to Kelly, and also Kira.
