I'm Elisa

My name is Elisa. I am 32 years old and recently started feeling tingling on my left side. Not numbness or weakness, just tingling. I have been to the doctor, my pressure was fine, blood results came out fine, EKG normal...saw a neurologist yesterday and my physical neurological exam came out perfectly normal but she wants me to have an MRI to rule out any more serious issues.

Just wondering if anyone knows of symptoms like this just going away? I have suffered from migraines and anxiety in the past and this has been listed as a symptom of those but I just have such a bad feeling. Just trying to get some piece of mind while I wait for the test on Wednesday.

Thank you everyone.

Hi Elisa and welcome to NeuroTalk. It is so hard to wait for tests, we always imagine the worst case scenario. These forums are great for making friends and sharing information. Please keep us posted..your symptoms could be so many things, including anxiety so I don't know which forum to direct you to.

Welcome to NT

Just tingling. Well, that means something, ok?

You might want to keep a journal of your daily acticvities and pain level, showing where the pain is and time it starts and what eases it off. Include meds, foods, vitamins and anything you are doing, activity-wise.

Like, do you have a high truck you have to stretch to step up in?

Sleep???? mattress? number of hours you get? day/night sleeping? bad bed fellow? snoring? apnea?

Are you walking on concrete or stairs? Work, school, shopping?

Smoker? Yeah. smoking is bad for humans! ! !:wink:

Point being, if there's not a medical reason, then I would look at my activities a little bit.

I do hope you get answers, because it is so healing to know what it is and what you can or can't do about it. It makes a lot of difference in how you recover.

Think of all that testing as a baseline for your future medical history. It is great news that all those tests are normal.

Keep asking questions...:grouphug:
