Can somebody help?
Bouncing between MS and PN Forums. Don't know what I expect to figure out, but I feel like I'm losing my life.
My body hurts all over. There is no "okay" area. I'm buzzing from my sinuses/jaw to my toes. I keep almost falling everytime I walk. I keep telling everybody that I feel earthquakes that aren't really there. I get disoriented, and my right foot drops or I lose feeling in it, or whatever causes me to trip. My boss told me yesterday that they're hiring another girl to take over my shifts until I get "to feeling better." My husband lost his job two weeks ago, so we're really hurting for my shifts, but I can't make it through the work day without dragging some part of my body. I can't get my limbs to respond to my brain. MRI showed no brain lesions, so DR said No MS, and NCV showed sensorymotor polyneuropathy. Thatwas just in my legs, 2 months ago. Now it's EVERYWHERE, and everyday is progressively worse than before. Does this sound like guillian barre or ALS? Did ya'lls PN develop this rapidly? Nothing is helping. Nothing at all. |
Have you had testing for B12 levels? Low B12 can cause symptoms like you describe.
Sometimes low B12 is confused with MS symptoms. Another culprit can be gluten from the diet. Going gluten free may reveal something important for you. No wheat, barley or rye. |
I am sorry, that is scary. I agree with Mrs D. Find a really good doctor that understands the tests for B12, vit D, thyroid and going gluten free is always good to try. I have been off of gluten for two years.
You can also get your blood sugar tested and test at home. I know it is so scary but there are great things you can do. Hormone testing with someone that knows how to do it is important also. I hope you can find a great doctor to do the tests. |
