Feel like a rag doll

Hi guys

Strictly speaking this is not an MS problem, but in the last three weeks, I have had a throat infection, a lousy cold/sinus problems, and the worst case of devil-driven gastro that I have ever had in my life (or in any of my former lives.....;)).

Not in any particular order, and they keep recurring..... three weeks is a LONG time!!!!

Looks like my immune system is smashed at the moment - I have had to put my Tysabri off three times now.

Just hoping it doesn't cause a flare......

Ugh, any one of those is enough! And who knows whether having MS makes them worse? It doesn't take much of an "other" thing to wipe me out.

hugs, feel better please.

Respiratory problems and Tysabri

Hi Lyn,

Sorry you are feeling so bad and for so long a time.

I had my 55th infusion in August.

I get colds often that last weeks on end and the only way to recover is by taking antibiotics. The colds always start with a terrible sore throat. My saving grace has been a really good pulmonolgist on my MS team. I hope you have one too.

Hi everyone

Thank you so much for your support. I am feeling better (thanks largely to drugs) - although it seems never far from me. I am back at work, and so far, apart from smashing fatigue, I am not having adverse MS reactions.

Regards

Lyn

Thanks for reporting in, Lyn. Glad to hear that you are better. Take it as slow as you can.
