Help I have back pain, need to understand x ray report

I need help understang my ex ray report.
It says: Deffused congenital narrowing of the spinal canal is present.

Ther is a suggestion of epidural limpomatotsis within the lower lumbar spinal canal at L4 and L5 leveles and within the upper sacral canal.
A midline left paramedian extrusion is present at T12 L1. Ther is no obvious impingment on the coard; sis with congental narrowing of the canal.
However the study and the coard itself is not well seen.
A midline disk protruion at L4-5s mild spinal canal stenoThere i.
Please help me to understand this x ray report.

Whoever authorised the x-rays, probably your GP, should have received an explanation note from the radiologist.
It is up to this doctor to explain it to you, and where you go from there.

I'll do the best I can but there are a couple of things I'm not familiar with:

Limpomatotsis -- there is NO definition for that in the medication dictionary available at the top here at NeuroTalk. And I've never heard of it either.

You have a disc bulge at T12-L1. It doesn't impinge on the cord which is good, but you have a congenital narrowing of the spinal canal.

You have a disc bulge at L4-5 with mild spinal canal stanosis (narrowing of the spinal canal.

They don't say how bad your congenital spinal canal narrowing is, so it's hard to determine if you're a candidate for surgery, but based on this MRI report, I would say NO. But I am NO DOCTOR so you should get another opinion from another doctor or two!!!

I wish you the very best. God bless and take care. Hugs, Lee

Epidural Lipomatosis

[Epidural lipomatosis is a rare disorder in which an abnormal amount of fat is deposited on or outside the lining of the spine. It may press on the spinal cord and nerves.
Symptoms

Symptoms vary, but back pain and weakness are the most common ones. Other possible signs may be a loss of sensation or reflexes that are too slow or too fast.] http://www.cedars-sinai.edu/Patients...pomatosis.aspx

What are your symptoms & pain level?
They may have started with the x ray to see if a MRI or more extensive testing is needed.
