Sudafed

Has anyone else noticed an improvement in their MG symptoms with products containing pseudoephedrine, e.g Sufoded?

Ephedrine is an old time treatment for MG, back from the days before mestinon. Sudafed is technically "pseudo-ephedrine" which means "false" ephedrine, which works along the same lines.

It's not a coincidence that it makes you feel better and like everything else, it may not work for everyone.

That's so strange given that Mestinon does pretty much nothing for me! I wonder why ephedrine works miracles for me and Mestinon doesn't.... how odd.

That is interesting. I wish I knew the answer. I haven't used Sudafed in years.
