Political phone calls
 

Hi,

We are getting annoying political phone calls as the election gets clower.


Two days ago I got a caller asking me to volunteer for a campaign. I really wanted to laugh.

. . . . as if anything I could do would be helpful.

Anyway, the point is that the woman on the other end of the phone got SNIPPY with me when I said no !!!!!

She called me, asked me to do a very difficult job, and got witchy when I said "no." :p :eek:

I heard today that your state could be a deciding state. So you may be up to many phone calls, get caller ID and don't answer them screen them.

I'm getting political phone calls to. I look at the caller ID,and if it is someone that I don't know,I pick up the phone,and hang it up. BF:hug::hug::hug:

It's O.K. I love politics. They are getting my name from the voter rolls.
I answer some phone calls. Recently I took a survey, the results of which the campaign used two days later in an ad.

I did not like the snippiness. That reminds me to try to be nice to people even /especially when I am stressed, tired, rushed.

We are getting them too.
Sometimes they are disguised as surveys.

I did one survey...now I'm done.

I'm always very polite and say, I did one and that's it for me. Then I do not listen to any more (even if they are talking) and say "Thank you for calling. Good luck with your efforts. Have a great day," and immediately hang up the phone.

I don't care if they are attemptng to talk over me, etc.

Hopefully they hear the words I'm saying. I don't ever wish to be unkind, but it is an intrusion and I wont do it. My house, my phone, my choice...that's IT.

I got two political calls today. I look at the Caller ID first. I just pick up the phone,and hang it up. That way I won't hear their recordings. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I am dumb enough and curious enough to answer the calls.

On Wednesday I responded to a survey that was like a poll. At the end the recording told me which group was doing the survey.

~while I am driving
~on youtube,
~or anywhere else on-line.

I would like the election be done.
