Curly hair because of prednison?
Hi there, just wondered... I always had very, very straight hair (really straight, asian straight). But now, I have loads of curls. Not waves, but actual curles!
I guess medicine caused it, but since I am on so many, I don't know which one causes it. I started noticing it, about a year after I started prednison. Anyone else had this? I think it is a nice side effect :) |
Hi Raven, nice to see you.
I noticed losing hair while on Prednizone, but no curls. Are you on any chemo? Sometimes hair grows back in curls. I'm not saying that stuff will curl your hair, but..well..:D |

I've never noticed that. I do know that as I get older my hair is getting curly. I really don't know how to manage it or what to do with it. It's crazy because I have always had straight hair as well.
It could be the prednisone or one of the other medicines you take. Meds can do that. So, enjoy your new curly hair.:p |

Of note, I think any medicine you take can change your hair. Medicines change our body chemistry and naturally would change our hair. I do know that dying your hair when on meds can result in some "different" colors. My hairstylist told me about that once. |
