treatment options

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on places or doctors that may specialize in the treatment of MG. I like my neuro so far but I've been considering seeking treatment outside of my local area with someone that has a lot of experience with the disease. I've seen a research program out of the University of Illinois Chicago whose doctors are on my insurance. My dad called the Myasthenia Foundation yesterday and was also given the name of a neurologist in San Francisco that's on my plan. Thanks for your input. :-)

treatment options - Chicago

Dr. Julie Rowin at the UI at Chicago diagnosed and treats my MG. She is very good. She did my SFEMG that confirmed my MG and then worked me through their well-established set of doctors to do my robotic thymectomy last December.

Hi Adam;

I am being referred by my Dr. (Gindurg) to a Dr. Bedoun at USC. When I looked him up at:

His credentials look impressive.

I also looker him up on.

And noticed Dr. William King Engel. The ninth one down. I went through every neurologist on the list of USC doctors and he is the only neuro who specializes in MG.
