Hi There :-) from Holland Michigan
Today is my 12th wedding anniversary, and i still feel the "butterflies in my tummy " effect when i look at my dear husband :-).It's not the same though anymore , i have to share my dh with severe essential tremors .....and his not doing to well emotionally and physically .....
I was born and raised in South Africa and came to USA 12 years ago,now living in Michigan and loving every momemt of it. I just don't know where to seek out help for my dh anymore.I have started him on grape seed extract and primrose oil together with his inderol. My,Our life has been "put on hold" and i honestly don't know what to do now, my dh is moody , depressed and just not himself .He let's his left arm "hang" as if it's dead weight and i'm waiting for him to bounce back to life .gosh! theres just too much to say right now. anyways, :-) my name is Dee , 37 years of age and a stay at home mom. |

same here ,born in cape town too. thanks a ton for the heads up guys. does anyone know of personal stories or forums about ET or movement dis orders rather than medical journal write ups. my dh would rather be more comfortable reading and relating to other people's personal experiences than "studies and findings " on ET. thank you :-) Cloud Z : i speak afrikaans as my first language yet i'm not a boer (lol) , my true language is really a medley of both afrikaans and english mixed into what my mother used to say "kombuis taal" kitchen language .... :-) |
Hi Dee
"aangename kennis :D Daar is lede hier wat ek voel sal baie kan help met hulle eie stories" If you introduce yourself on our Parkinson's Disease Forum, and ask about Essential Tremors, I just know there will members who can give both personal insight and information for you and your husband. here is the link to our PD board here at NeuroTalk http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 Cheri |
