Spellcheck

It isn't my eyes, it's my brain. Even though I'm easily distracted by errors in the written word (spoken, too), and am often ASKED to proofread things for other people, I have days when I can go over and over something I've written and STILL miss something that should have been obvious when I typed it!

For instance, I can type "abilitly", re-read it three times and all three times see it the way it should be, "ability".

I make plenty of mistakes, so what? But what really bugs me is when I go back and check, and still don't see it. Grrrrr.

This happens to me all the time now, more so with my advancing age. I use Firefox browser, which has a built in spell check. But it does not fix grammar, and it does not always flag medical words. I type fast, and often miss small words now. You will see me editing my posts quite a bit, sometimes, I see the errors days later! duh? At least as a mod, I can go back and fix things when others can't, here. LOL When people quote me though it embarrasses me to see a glaring error.:o
