Could I have lymes?
I'm sure a lot of people here that have had lymes were tested for MS too, am I right? Well, my older sister who lives in WY got it but didn't have the rash. I live in Texas, where from what I've been told isn't a common state for lymes, but it's the one thing I haven't been tested for yet as far as my symptoms are concerned.
Symptoms between one instance last year and now are: numbness electric shock type pains that come and go abornmal sensations (crawlies, pin pricks) muscle twitches headaches hair loss There were a series of months in-between where I felt completely fine, so can lymes symptoms come and go if you have it? Does anyone know if you can get it in Texas? I have never recalled a tick on me. I haven't had flu like symptoms either, so is it possible to not carry all the symptoms? Of course I don't want lymes, but when it comes to this or something like MS I'd be hoping for the lymes since you can recover from it. I'm not even sure if there are any doctors where I live that are knowledgable enough when it comes to lymes. :/ |

Lyme is around the whole of the US.. Even TX. The symptoms you have very well may be lyme. They are typical lyme symptoms. Some info Most ppl never get a rash. Most people test negative for lyme but are actually positive. I can explain mechanism if you would like to know. It's very complicated. But it has to do with lyme changing its outer proteins constantly as well as a few other factors. Before you start any long term antibiotics exhaust every other possibility. But yes, your symptoms could very well be lyme Check out ilads.org Movie: under our skin. ( free online) Book: cure unknown Good luck |
Agreed. Only one at doesn't sound like lyme is hair loss. Lyme could cause an imbalance that led to this, or it maybe another problem all together at the same time.
Take care |
