post acdf /mri need help understanding

Hi Everyone, Im new had acdf c5 thru c7 7-2010-Has great results for 18months now very pain shoulder/neck pain on right. Recently has MRI would like to understand if this is causing all my symptoms. Surgeon was great and said im fused--not sure why new pain-- but no further surgery is required. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

at level c5/6 the right side heriated nucleus pulposus with resultant right spinal cord, right lateral recess and right neural foramina narrowing as been partially relieved. There is a resdual focal indentation of the midline spinal cord(27/44) There is mild bilateral recess and neural foramina narrowing,

Impression: status post spinal decompression with anterior fusion. Interval improvement in canal stenosis at c5 thru c7with mild residual indentation of the spinal cord at c5-c6
