Buzzing again
Everything went well.
I was told it was even more important to follow dr. Orders this time due to the lead having a track to migrate back to. Sooo, doctors orders, no exceptions!! It's possible my work might fire me, but, Ada will be all up on that. I was also told that I have to have an ankle and foot orthotic due to numerous falls with bad circumstances. Anyway, lots of pain, will try and update later. Thanks for thought and prayers!! :grouphug: Love to all TK |
Well Done Tk
Thank you TK for the update.
Yes do make sure that you take it easy and BE CAREFUL.....I know its hard trying not to bend etc, but you MUST!:hug:Try to be patient (be a patient:D)and just relax and let it all flow and you will be back to normal very very soon. We all have a tendency to want to do things quicker than we should, but now you have the opportunity to rest and relax take it and hopefully all will stay in the one place and not migrate again...... Keep us updated if and when you can Take care Jackie  |

If the damage and the pain progress, you will eventually be unable to work anyhow. I don't care what kind of major surgery you have, the surgeon can only guess how long you will be layed up. There are so many variables. An employer knows that whether he/she wants to admit it or not. Take care and follow orders. Hugz and prayers. |
SO RELIEVED that it's overwith, TK , and that you are now on the road to recovery.
Also glad they've given you something for better support for your foot! Rest easy dear one  Rae :grouphug: |
Well How About Reasonable Accomodation?
Dear TK-
While following everyone's good advice to be kind to yourself, use logroll to get out of bed, remember BLAST [no bend, lift, stretch, twist] AND leave hay bales for someone else...... then whack your employer with Reasonable Accomodation if they try to fire you... Good Grief!!! We may have to call out the posse to give them something to think about!! People with disabilities have to have the applicatoin of some HEART!! So says the Mark, Prayin too, Mark56:grouphug: |
It never ceases to amaze me how some people try to get over on the disabled. The town I once lived in before moving to civilization had two pharmacies and neither one was handicapped accessable. The one I used had broken steps that I had to drag myself up if I wanted to go inside. I fell twice. The second time I broke my wrist. The pharmacist and doctor who owned the building came running out. The doctor was in one half of the building and was handicapped accessable but you couldn't get to the pharmacy from his side. Anyhow, this tight wad offered to call a family member to come get me and take me to a little clinic. I just said "no, I have hit my head pretty hard and my ears are really ringing. Call me an ambulance to take me to the regional medical center or get your Cadillac and take me yourself. Needless to say, he called an ambulance. Then he refused to pay the bills because he said I was a drug addict. Lord have mercy. That put me on a mission. I contacted Care/Caid and told them the story, to expect bills that they shouldn't have to pay and then contacted Americans With Disabilities and filed a grievance against the owners of the pharmacy buildings because they were not handicapped accessable. Both got nice fines and ended up installing the nicest ramps you've ever seen.
We may be glitchy around the edges but as long as we are breathing we have recourse. Grrrrr |
less pain in the long run

I still have surgery site pain seven months post op because I did not follow "BLAST" ...just read the phrase...so please let my lesson be yours. Oh yes...I am slowly pulling out of the prayer group to move towards the posse....I am always more comfortable with the rebels... looking forward to your progress Johanna |
The Posse
OK, from Side by Side by Seinfeld:
Our Posse song- Sing it!! You gotta have HEART, miles and miles and miles of Heart If you don't give a care then do not be where we ARE We Have Fullness of HEART!!!:sing: OK, so I changed a lyric or two, but you get the drift.... Heart drives our Posse, and we are rebellious rabble rousers following Rrae, who is the rebellest of ALL, because she has HEART and COOL smilies, far better than what we may click on here! HEART!!! Posse, gets 'em and Hearts 'em until they CARE for the patient. we go and make them feel the love. HEART!!! In a pirate sort of way...... AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Avast, Mark56:Soapbox::Heart::nopity::mf_swordfight: |
