Longandwinding road...

I thought I'd start a new thread to you. I am so sorry for your daughters suicide attempt...her second attempt. :( May I ask if she lives with you? Is she getting counseling? Taking medicine for depression? Is she talking about why she would want to die?

It's true that most people who attempt suicide and also those who succeed don't really want to die...they want their pain to end. Knowing that doesn't make it any less scary to deal with...does she talk about it to you?

Have you read Pters wise words that are stickied to the top of this forum?
He was a wonderful man and taught us alot about suicidal feelings which he suffered from.

There are a lot of good books...Suicide, The Forever Decision is an excellent one.

Please know that you aren't alone on this awful "winding road". I'm glad you have
joined us. :grouphug:
