Friends 1 year old, allergies or something else.

I have a friend who needs some Ideas. We are stumped.

1. Little guy has had a rough year. 10 different formula's
# 11 is the first he has kept down for very long. I believe he
right now weighs around 15lbs.

2. He has been in and out of the hospital for seeing why he throws
up and things off and on all this last year.

3, His mom has done everything she can think of.

4. They tried bringing in baby cereals, and baby food. He can't keep
it down either.

They just did allergy test today.

Only thing that came back positive, Was a
Walnut allergy.

But I am not sure about that from the picture she posted.
I told her to take pictures to other doctors, because I'm not sure.

But the GI doctor and others are all stumped. Any clues and any
advice would be helpful.

It's been a long time since this was originally posted...I hope "someone" reads this. I have MCS and one of the things I realized was I'm sensitive to plastics (actually, anything that's a petrochemical in any form).

If anyone has a baby like this one, then never use plastic when feeding. No plastic baby bottles, no plastic utensils, no plastic dishes. Never microwave in plastic or use pans with "Teflon" type coatings. Try not to store leftovers in plastics. If you buy a product that's stored in plastic (and most things are), get the largest container possible (this includes yogurts, etc.). And, never ever drink water from a plastic bottle!!!

GERD has been linked to plastics. I developed throat polyps and was told I needed surgery. After I stopped using plastics in any form, the polyps went away.

JMHO...
