Neurocardiogenic syncope vs. Dysautonomia

Hi. I am new on this website. My sister-in-law came across it and sent me the link. Anyways, I have a question if anyone has any input or answers for me. I have been diagnosed with Neurocardiogenic Syncope for nearly 2 yrs. In addition to that, I have since been diagnosed for a little over a year with gastrointestinal issues. I am also being treated for anxiety and am told that my difficulty focusing and easily forgetting things is based on my anxiety.
A nursing friend of mine came across someone at one point with something called Dysautonomia, something I have never heard of. She sent info that appears that the symptoms include all of my neurocardiogenic syncope symptoms as well as the gastro, anxiety, mental difficulty, and some other symptoms I haven't even really had checked out yet. I have a f/u with my cardiologist on Monday, my neurologist (who has never actually gotten any positive tests on me) on Wednesday, and my regular doc on Thursday. Those of you with more experience in these areas, does it sound like I am on the right road with the Dysautonomia as opposed to the neurocardiogenic syncope? Thanks for any input you can give me.

I want to recommend you a book.

I want to recommendy you POTS: Together we stand Riding the waves of Dysautonomia. It explains in easy word everything about Dysautonomia. I think as a kindle is just 9.99

Thanks for the suggestion about the book. I thought NCS, Dysautonomia, and POTS were different disabilities, even if they fell under the same umbrella. I have never had POTS mentioned to me, but have been diagnosed with NCS, and recently had the dysautonomia brought up to me. I guess I just need to look a little more into it. Thanks again.
