Autumn
I am sooooooo nostalgic and lonesome, this time of year. Miss being young, miss high School, Miss my departed Family, especially DH. I look outside at the beautiful changing of colors of leaves and tears come to my eyes.:Sigh:
I want to protest to the highest degree, in my loudest unladylike voice, my unhappiness with the way God handles this aging thingy. I wish he had asked my advise, because my plan would be, to have NO aging. We would be born babies and enjoy growing to a mature wise 25 and remain there till time to go. No wrinkles, no sags, creaky bones, joint pain, losing teeth, diarhea, constipation, no dying process and nooooo chronic disease!!! Our lives should be a little tough, so we may work hard to earn our way to heaven. When it's our time to go, a choice agreed upon by us and God, we simply go to sleep that night....to awaken in paradise with all those who have chosen to go before us. Pets never die, they go with us.:D All those who like my plan, please tell God, thank you. Add anything I forgot.. |
Sally, I think you've said it brilliantly :)

Amen! Although I would need to stop aging at 30 years old because I was still a total knuckle head in my 20s. :o
I'm taking students to an adult day care facility for part of their clinical rotation and although this is a most wonderful, clean, stimulating program it still makes me sad that there is a need...especially when I think of the woman younger than I am with MS who attends it. |
If we stay 25, do we have children and grandchildren?

But of course we do, but noone gets over 25. We may stay 25 for 100 years..lol |
Can you imagine getting to be the age of Noah, 950 years?
|
Sally- sent up my 2cents and he said he would put it on the list. Wish I could give you a great big hug!
I happen to prefer 32- I was thin, cute, happily married & but had some maturity. |
I think mid 30s would be good age to stay at, in 20s I was still wet behind the ears LOL.
|
OK, change that 25 to 32, I like that better too. Hurry, inform God of the change..:)
|
I wish instead of the slow decline with illness, etc., we would all get a button (kind of like the "Easy" button on that commercial) and when we felt it was time to go, we'd push it and wave bye bye...after watching my inlaws decline the past 7 years, I do not look forward to it. I'm having enough difficulty just dealing with this stupid MS:(
