Finger tremor?

If a nerve is being affected up in the shoulder, can it cause the thumb to tremble? Was sitting on the couch with my hand resting on my stomach when my thumb just started shaking all on its own, continuing for a bit even when I moved my hand.

or am I likely in for something new and even more exciting?

mine has done that in the past. It has not happened in a long time.

It has happened to me from time to time. Prior to my rib resections, the tremors accompanied a loss of finger/hand dexterity.
