RSD spreading???
 

I know this has been talked about before, but how do know if the RSD is spreading?? Maybe I am just paranoid after hearing so many stories here.
Two days ago i noticed I couldn't get my shoe on my left foot. I adjusted the laces and went on to my 2 appointments. I had a throbbing in my foot all day
I g home and put my slippers on and got dinner going. Later when I took sock off, ny foot looked like a balloon with toes stuck on it. Swelling is up through ankle and bottom of foot and it hurts to walk on it. Just happened to have an appt with my PCP and he noticed both legs swollen, so he sent me for a venous doppler. I was told that report would not be available until next week. I also had a CAT scan because I spent a week in the hospital 3 weeks ago and have a drain until surgery is done. My PCP said it could be the drain causing this. Does this sound line anything anyone has heard of?

Hopefully not or it could be a phantom Flare, I know I.ve had one and two real spreads.
The Phantom one started in my right ankle all the claasic signs but no trauma of any sort one moment prefectly ok then it just started. 4 days later it disappeared again. Both real ones started after a very small incident.
Thinik hard have you suffered even the slightest knock, where is the drain what surgery.

I haven't even bumped either foot, you have given me something positive to hang on to.
I will have gall bladder surgery next week . The drain is due to gall bladder blockage and infection. I am dreading it as the hospital staff really knows nothing about RSD. I actually argued with staff about using my left arm for nothing.

You need to print this out and try and get it to them beforehand, if you can't you should refuse to let them touch you until someone in authority has read it.
